  • 7/18 – Mountain Man Sprint Triathlon – 1:09, 2nd in age group, best placement to date
  • 8/8 – Boulder Half-Ironman 70.3 – 5:10
  • 10/23 – Pumpkinman Half-Iron Triathlon – 5:49, with a 28:16 swim fastest half-iron swim to date
  • 11/21 – Ironman Arizona – 11:25, dreadful conditions all day

2011

  • 1/16 – PF Changs Half Marathon – 1:32, new PR for a stand-along half marathon
  • 4/10 – Marquee Half-Iron Triathlon (converted to a duathlon due to weather) – 4:55 (5k run – 56 mile bike – 13.1 mile run)
  • 4/30 – Wildflower Long Course Triathlon (half-iron) – 5:33, PR at Wildflower by 17 minutes
  • 5/13 – Tempe International Triathlon – 2:18, 4th in age group, missing 2nd by 27 seconds…
  • 6/8 – Boise Half-Ironman 70.3 – 5:06, PR for half-iron distance
  • 7/17 – Mountain Man Sprint Triathlon – 1:10
  • 8/14 – Mountain Man Olympic Triathlon – 2:13, 2nd in age group; 3rd swim, 7th bike, and 4th run in age group
  • 9/18 – Branson Half-Ironman 70.3 – 5:34, massive thunderstorm and a complete bonk = a painful day…
  • 10/23 – SOMA Half-Iron Triathlon – 4:53, a new PR and first ever sub-5 hour half-iron; 8th swim and 12th run in age group of 115
  • 11/20 – Ironman Arizona – 10:58, first ever sub-11 hour Ironman
  • 12/10 – Sally’s Run 5k – 18:54, first ever 5k and PR (of course, since it was my first 5k…)

2012

  • 1/16 – PF Changs Half Marathon – 1:32, new PR for a stand-along half marathon
  • 3/10 – Desert Classic Duathlon – 2:25, 7th in age group with 8th overall finishing run
  • 3/31 – Oceanside 70.3 – 5:06, not my best day…
  • 5/5 – Ironman St. George – 12:04, probably the toughest Ironman ever
  • 6/9 – Boise 70.3 – 2:51, 23rd in Age Group on a bike-shortened course with a 1:33 run
  • 7/15 – Lake Stevens 70.3 – 5:03, one of my better overall races even with a bad bike crash
  • 8/12 – Mountain Man Olympic – 2:23, a very average race
  • 11/19 – Ironman Arizona – 11:03, total breakdown on the run

2013

  • 1/19 – Coldwater Rumble 50 Miler – 10:50, first ever sanctioned ultra
  • 2/26-27 – Ragnar Del Sol 3-person team – 32:16, I covered 67 miles in 12 legs
  • 3/30 – Oceanside 70.3 – 5:13, 28:43 swim, but that’s the only good part of the day
  • 4/14 – Marquee Sprint – 1:13, 3rd place in Age Group, 18 seconds behind 1st…
  • 5/4/ – Wildflower Half-Ironman – 5:34 on a hot, hot day
  • 6/8 – Boise 70.3 – 5:03, earning me 10th in my age group, 90th overall and qualifying me for the 70.3 World Championship in Sept 2013 in Las Vegas!
  • 8/11 – Mountain Man Olympic – 2:18, 2nd in Age Group and 14th overall
  • 9/8 – Half-Ironman World Championships – 5:33 on a rainy, muggy, and then brutally hot and sunny day
  • 9/22 – Ironman Lake Tahoe – 12:58, my slowest IM but one of the most difficult, with a 35 min T1!
  • 11/16 – Ironman Arizona – 11:30, got sick and took a nap during the run…

2014

  • 2/16 – Panama 70.3 – 4:48, a personal record (BY FAR) and probably my best race ever at any distance; earned me 10th in Age Group, first US male in Age Group, and (for the second year in a row) qualified me for the 70.3 World Championship in Sept 2014 in Mont Tremblant, Canada!
  • 3/1 -Phoenix Marathon – 3:14, only two weeks after Panama 70.3; giving everything I could, that 3:14 was a Boston Qualifying time, even though I didn’t try for a spot
  • 4/5 – Crown King Scramble 50k – 6:39, just a fun run with friends
  • 5/18 – Tempe Sprint – 1:02 and for killing myself, I was 5th (!!!) in my age group (out of 26), 14th overall (out of about 300), and missed 2nd in AG by less than 90 seconds…  I was NOT happy
  • 6/14 – Bryce 100 Miler – 32:53, my first 100 mile run…
  • 9/7 – Half-Ironman World Championship – 5:15 on a day where all I did was try and have fun
  • 11/16 – Ironman Arizona – 12:05 on a very windy day, giving me my worst IMAZ time but on the day where I had the most fun, ever, at an Ironman event

2015

  • 3/20-21 – Ragnar Del Sol 3-Man Ultra – 8:08, where I covered ~73 miles
  • 3/14 – Mesquite Canyon 50 Miler – 13:52, on a very hot and sunny day
  • 6/18-19 – Tahoe Rim Trail 100 Miler – TBD…
