The life of a Dad who strives to be the best dad possible

What’s in Shakeology? Just ask Tony Horton…

Vegan Shakeology
I don’t know about you, but I only have twenty-four hours in the day.  If, somehow, you have more, PLEASE tell me how you did that.  Sadly, until then, I will keep trying to be as efficient as possible in everything I do.  This certainly includes eating.  Yes, I am somewhat of a health and fitness nut but I enjoy living like that.  Crazy, I know, but pre-dawn swims and runs that start long before sunrise and at near freezing temperatures somehow make me smile and feel good.  Well, sort of good.  When it comes to eating health though, that is less easy than simply setting an alarm clock.  There’s just more steps.  From making a shopping list and eating before I head to the store to preparing healthy options for myself and my family, it can be done but is not always the simplest thing.  So, I am always seeking ways to improve my diet and my family’s diet in time-efficient ways.  (One of my best solutions for my kids to date was the creation and evolution of my Vegetable Shakes, or “Fruit Shakes” as my kids call them.  You can read about them and watch their creation here, for version 1, or here, for version 2!)  But, even with those, I still need more.  Constantly training for triathlons or other endurance events (and chasing around my two kids) requires I fuel my body with the best stuff I can find.  Enter: Shakeology.

Shakeology is, in short, one of the most diverse, healthiest, super-food based products ever created.  While it might be faster to tell you what is not in it, let’s just say that it contains over seventy natural ingredients from rich, nutrient-dense sources around the globe.  The fact is, Shakeology is incredibly healthy and no other single food item on the market can provide you with all the nutrients, vitamins, proteins, minerals, and more in the amounts your body needs the way this delicious shake can.  If you would like more information, just contact me here or you can go to www.myoneshake.com to learn more.

In the meantime, check out this video.  It is Tony Horton talking about Shakeology and what is in it.  You must watch to the end where Tony begins dropping some of his typical humor, with lines like “fatty fat chips” and “Sugar O’s”.  It is very funny!
